Burnley and Padiham are represented by four Reform UK councillors on Lancashire County Council. Here is a summary of the roles and committee appointments they have held since Reform took control in May 2025.
Cllr Tom Pickup (Padiham and Burnley West)
During 2025/26 Cllr Pickup served as the council’s Lead Member for Finance and Resources. At the cabinet changes of 22 May 2026 he was appointed Cabinet Member for Adult Social Care, and he also sits on the Company Member Cabinet Committee.
Cllr Mark Poulton (Burnley Rural)
At the council’s annual meeting on 22 May 2025, Cllr Poulton was appointed Chair of the Environment, Economic Growth and Transport Scrutiny Committee and Chair of the Scrutiny Management Board for 2025/26.
Cllr Liam Thomson (Burnley Central West)
Cllr Thomson sits on the Development Control Committee and the Regulatory Committee, which deal with planning and licensing matters across the county.
Cllr Eddie Kutavicius (Burnley South West)
Cllr Kutavicius represents Burnley South West on the county council.
