Outstanding road defects across Lancashire fell from 61,063 in September 2024 to 35,514 in September 2025 under the Reform administration.
Reform-run Lancashire County Council set a record total highways budget, with extra money directed to road repairs across the county.
Nine of Burnley’s fifteen wards have Article 4 protection against unchecked conversion to houses in multiple occupation. Reform councillors are pressing to extend it to the six wards that have none.
